Simulation Lab Neuroscience HPC Workshop

The application of large data sets to computationally intensive theoretical simulations and analyses requires the adaptation of software and theory from local clusters to high-performing computational systems. Large capacities of computing time are available for researchers of the Bernstein Network at the Jülich Supercomputing Center (JSC).

In order to bring together interested Bernstein researchers with computational scientists experienced in high-performing computational systems, the SimLab Neuroscience - Bernstein Facility Simulations- and Database Technology is organizing a workshop.

This workshop will be focused on finding ways to make JSC resources available to the Bernstein community by expanding projects to current supercomputer scales, exploring new problems wich may be amenable to methods available at this scale, and catalyzing collaborations with the SimLab Neuroscience.

Date: June 4-5, 2014

Location: Forschungszentrum Jülich

Register at: hpcns-meetings@fz-juelich.de

*Registration deadline: May 18th, 2014****
